Audree - 2 months
Wow... I just realized that I never did a 2 month update on my little girl. Even though it's way late, I'd like to get something up for the records.
At 2 months here are Audree's stats: 2 month stats: Height 22.5" (50%) weight 10#10oz (75%) Head 16" (75%).
She is growing up so quickly and even now has changed so much since her 2 month appointment.
She is such a smiler. She smiles and coos more than Josh ever did at this age. It is really fun. She also loves to chew on her hands. She chomps on those things just about all day. She sleeps really well and up until a few days ago (she had a little episode where she wasn't feeling well and still hasn't recovered), she would sleep about 6 hours straight, wake up to eat and go back down for another 1 1/2 - 2 hours. It was fabulous. I hope she gets back in to that soon!
I'm so glad that Audree is still nursing well. She is such a quick and easy nurser. I've been very blessed. I remember when I had her all I wanted was to be able to nurse her and I'm glad that that wish has come true.
She still has blue eyes so we'll see if she keeps them. She also has red hair just like her brother and daddy, but it's starting to look a little bit darker. I wonder if that's because it's starting to thicken or if it's actually changing color. Regardless, she's beautiful! Love her to pieces!!
As a side note, when we moved to Yakima Joshua was just 2 1/2 months old. Just the other day Audree hit that same age. I can hardly believe how quickly time has passed and that our time here in Yakima is almost up. It's been really fun watching Joshua grow here and I look forward to watching them both grow as our life moves to it's next chapter in Blackfoot. Here is a side-by-side of the two of them at 2 1/2 months:

Quiet Book
For Joshua's birthday, I really wanted to get a quiet book made for him. Hopefully this will help in our Sacrament Meeting struggle and in the future on the long car ride to Blackfoot. I still have about 6 more pages to finish up and a cover, but I'm proud that I got as far as I did before his birthday.
I got many of my ideas from looking around at blogs and pinterest. Some came from my head. Enjoy!!

Big Boy is 2!
Over the past 2 years I've grown so much as a person and as a mother. This little boy has blessed my life greatly and I'm so proud to call him my son. I thank Heavenly Father daily that I was blessed with his little soul and am humbled that Jake and I were the ones chosen to care for his little life.
Over the past year, he has grown so much developmentally and in his personality.
He learned to walk and talk. He grew in his fascination for cars, airplanes, and just about everything else with wheels.
He's the pickiest eater I've ever seen and definitely has a mind of his own when it comes to eating. He sure doesn't look malnourished :) with those chunky little cheeks and thighs, so I'm not too worried about him.
He loves to give kisses and hugs and really REALLY loves his friends! He enjoys the outdoors and kills for the chance to get outside any time he can. He's a daddy's boy who loves to rough and tumble.
Even though in many ways he's reached the "terrible twos", he still fills my heart with so much love and joy. Watching him grow, understand and learn on a daily basis makes me so proud.
I'm looking forward to the next many, many years (even eternity) where I will be able to call him my baby boy; my sweet son. He's got my heart strings wrapped around his finger and I truly am a lucky mother.
Thank you Joshua for being who you are, for your kind heart and loving spirit. You are my angel and I hope I'm the mother that you deserve to have. Happy Birthday Baby!
Kisses,
Mom
