32 Weeks!

Well, we had our 32 week doctor's appointment this past week.  The closer it gets the more anxious, nervous, scared, excited I get.  It's such a blend a of emotions, but truly we are thrilled!  The closer it gets, the more stumped we get about names it seems.  So if there are any suggestions out there, let us know.  We are open.  We had our first week of birthing classes last weekend and they were so lame we decided to skip this weekend.  It was such a basic class meant for those who didn't know how they got pregnant. It was bad.  I figured I could learn more by reading books from the library.  So that's the plan for now.

I'm feeling wonderful, and am often surprised by how great I feel.  It truly has been such a blessing to be so healthy and feeling well during this time.  The only things that really bother me are being tired, hurting hips every now and then, lack of motion and not being able to get out and do stuff in the outdoors with Jake.  But I absolutely know it will all be worth it in the end.  I really cannot wait to hold our sweet little baby boy and have him forever in my life.  It's hard to even explain now the love that I have for him and I haven't even seen him yet. I'm so excited!

I finished piano lessons this past week and so much of it felt like such a relief because I will now be able to spend more time relaxing at home and resting before the baby gets here.  I enjoyed my time teaching very much, and I'm grateful that i was able to learn a lot about how I want to teach in the future.

The big plans for this week are that my mom surprised me with tickets to the Michael Buble concert on Wednesday with her.  I saw him last time that he was in Salt Lake and honestly, best concert ever.  He sounds better in concert than he does on CD.  I'm so excited to spend some time with my mom too.   I consider her a best friend. Thanks mom! Can't wait for the concert!

The New Car!

Well after about 6 months of talking about getting a new car, we finally did it!  Here it is... '06 Subaru Outback. At first we never though of ourselves as Subaru owners, but the more we drove them and really thought about, they are so practical.  AWD and lot's of storage.  Seemed like the perfect fit for us.  We got it for a great deal and are thrilled and can barely believe that we finally did it.  The seller, Fred,  was awesome and we made a great friend! After a long day at the bank and DMV it's official, we've purchased a car and it feels great!!!

30 Weeks

So I really can't believe that I'm 30 weeks. It has been such a joy the past while to watch my little boy move.  It makes me so excited for our future life with him.  The only part that I can believe about being 30 weeks is my huge-ness.  I had someone ask me at the Distribution Center the other day "There's only one in there? And you have 3 months left?"  I about smacked her.  So yes, I am huge but no... there is not more than one in there and yes I still have 10 weeks left.

Computer Broke...

So the reasoning behind the lack of effort put into updating the blog is that first our computer is broke.... again!  So we are getting that fixed.  I also got promoted at my job and have been in the process of switching over to that position as well as training the new person for my old position.  So it's been a little crazy, but life is all good.

(Once I get the computer back I will update with belly pictures, but hopefully this will suffice for now)

Well I'm 28.5 weeks now!  I can hardly believe.  I feel our little boy move more and more everyday and at times I can't get enough of it, while at other times it can get annoying.  But overall I'm feeling really well.  No major problems or sicknesses, which I'm very grateful to be doing so well thus far.

More and more lately I've started to think about Nursing school.  It was something that I had in mind a long time ago, and it's funny how hindsight works, because now it seems like something I would have loved and I should have just gone for it.  Jake and I talked about this the other day, how we often scare ourselves out of things or think that we wouldn't be smart enough or handle something, when in fact we could.  We will just have to wait for the right timing of things, but more and more I think about nursing school and how much I think I would enjoy it.

That's about it in our little world right now.   I have showers coming up and before we all know it, I'm sure that I will be a little mommy! Crazy!
