Playing Catch-up: May Week 5 (26th - Jn 1st)

05.26.2013
Audree’s first piggies! And sportin’ her Venice dress for the first time too! What a doll!

Great evening saying goodbyes and good luck to some wonderful Med School friends, Neal & Lea Everson and their kids, before they leave for residency this week.  We had a great visit, wish we could have done it more often.

Lovin' on her "be-bes"

 05.28.2013
Taking turns licking the stream of bath water coming from the fountain.  Oh kids…

Audree’s favorite post-bath activities: playing in the mirror and throwing her diaper in the garbage. Cute girl!

Riding in the big toy Tonka Truck at ToysRUs.  Provided for some good entertainment while I checked out.

Some of my favorite times of the day are waking up this binky, bed-head, baby.  She is always so happy when I come in her room.

SUCCESS! This was as far away from her bottle as we could get.  Replacing the bottle nipple with a soft avent sippy spout.  Love that they are interchangeable because this was my last shot at switching.  She refused the first one that I tried this morning and fought this one I just gave her, but eventually took it all down. It took a little force and TV distractions, but she mad it.  So glad.  The little successes of a mom’s life.

Audree’s new trick on the slide.  She proceeds to laugh and say “no” when we tell her to sit down.  I’m nervous for this adventurous and mischievous little girl.

Cuddling with my sickies this morning.

Pulled out some of my old piano books just to give them a whirl.  I forgot how much focus and energy these Hanon exercises take.  I’m a little rusty.

Loving these pictures of my wonderful boys on their first Father-Son Campout.  Josh was so excited for it he couldn't sit still for the hour before they left.  What great memories!
